USYD Media Wall - Literature Review and Design Proposal

Based on my performance in IT subjects during my studies, I was given the opportunity to partake in the School of IT’s Special Studies Program at the University of Sydney, focusing on the C.H.A.I groups Media Wall project.

I was tasked with writing a literature review - identifying, summarising and synthesising a large number of texts focused around Interactive Public Information Displays and Mid-Air Gestural Interaction. From this I then created a design proposal intended for a redesign of the Media Walls interface.

You can read the literature review here (available soon), and my design proposals here [PDF].

About

I'm Shane, and I love to do work around the relationship between people and technology. I've mostly done user experience design and interaction design, with some creative coding and prototyping on the side, but am looking to get more heavily involved with creative coding, prototyping and motion design.
